Make Your Own Botanical Cosmetics

Join Seilich & The Selkie Collective for this workshop where you will learn how to make some natural cosmetic products of your very own.  During the course of this worksop you will learn how to make:

1/ a hand wash or facial cleanser

2/ a refreshing eye gel

3/ a facial oil/serum

All ingredients, equipment and sample jars/bottles will be supplied and are included in the price.

About Seilich:

Seilich is a family run company and was born from a love of nature. A love of nature and a passion to create products that weren’t just natural, but those that were actually good for nature.

Sally began Seilich (pronounced ‘Shay-lich’) in 2018 after the birth of her little girl Willow (naming the company after the Gaelic word for her name). Previously I’d spent 20 years working/studying in the conservation sector; travelling the world in the name of science took me on some amazing adventures, working in Borneo, Belize and Madagascar, and my studies allowed me to gain a real understanding of the natural world through a PhD. I finally settled in Scotland however where I worked on Scottish plant conservation projects at the Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh.

Seilich produces beautiful natural products based on the floral waters of native Scottish plant species. Our floral waters are distilled by us in small batches from wildflowers we grow ourselves in the Seilich meadow. Although we are passionate about our products, the main ethos behind Seilich is to create a wildlife friendly company that is able to produce natural products that actually give back, rather than take, from nature.
