About the event
This is a FREE course, fully funded by Forestry Scotland. Â Helping to create rejuvenating spaces for women, a place for rest & self reflection, free of judgement to support your wellbeing.
The full 2022 course dates are (we ask that you can ensure that you are able to attend all the dates):
Tue. 1st Feb. - 6pm ~ 8pm
Sat. 5th, 12th, 19th Feb. - 10am ~3pm
Sat. 26th Feb. - 6pm ~ 8pm

If you feel any of these questions resonate with you, then coming on this Women's Circle Journey might be just the thing you've been looking for. Â A way to take time out for yourself, meeting other like minded people, finding new ways to be creative and re-discovering how rejuvenated we can feel from spending time in nature. Â The time will be spent in forests & woodlands in South Skye & Lochalsh, relaxing, exploring and being creative. Â
We have three wonderful facilitators that will help gently guide us through the course, through forest bathing, meditation, walks, fireside chats and creative arts. Â Below each facilitator has told us about themselves and the work they already do.
Jo Royle:
Jo has many roles in life as a meditation guide, spiritual counsellor, facilitator and healer. Â Jo has a lot of experience bringing groups of women together to share space and gently and thoughtfully facilitates everyone to support each other. Â Her mediation practice is accessible and effortless, which brings physical, mental, emotional and spiritual benefits including reduced stress, clarity of purpose, access to intuition, mindfulness, healing and connection.

Rosamond Birch:
With a background as a teacher, facilitator, coordinator and artist, Rosamonde has witness the profound potential of groups convening together with nature and one another. Rosamonde believes that by exchanging and encountering our stories, memories and mutual empathy a collective knowledge emerges that helps us find inspiration for our own healing, wellbeing and that of our relationships, community and environment. Earth Wise, one of Rosamonde’s new ventures, invites women to enjoy journeying with nature through different topics, themes and questions using a range of arts, presencing and Earth Education practices.

Isabel McLeish:
Isabel is an artist and a certified Forest Therapy Guide and Forest Therapy Practitioner. She is based in Lochalsh, within the Wester Ross Biosphere and offers guided experiences and creative workshops throughout the Highlands and beyond.  Isabel often facilitates sessions that are informed by the astronomical calendar, the earth festivals and the lunar calendar to help deepen our connection to the rhythms of nature. She is passionate about supporting health and wellbeing through green activities and creating spaces where people can come together to slow down, tune-in, share ideas and celebrate our local landscape.

This is a free course, fully funded by Forestry Scotland that runs every Saturday throughout February 2022. There will be a welcome & farewell evening, then we will have three full days that will involve relaxing, being creative and exploring the forests & woodlands in South Skye & Lochalsh.
