Classic Granola

Ingredients

6 Tbsp Coconut Oil

150mls Maply Syrup

1 Orange (Juice)

4 tsp Ground Cinnamon

400g Jumbo Oats

70g Pecan (or any nut)

70g Sunflower Seeds

60g Pumpkin Seeds

40g Flaked Almonds

60g Coconut Chips

100g Raisins

1/2 tsp Salt


Preparation

  1. Pre-heat oven to 120c fan and line a backing tray with parchment paper.

  2. Heat on a low heat the coconut oil with the maple syrup until melted. Turn off the heat and add the orange juice and cinnamon.

  3. Once everything is melted and combined then add all the rest of the ingredients apart from the coconut chips and raisins.

  4. Spread the mixture over the baking tray evenly and bake for 45 - 60 minutes (depending on your oven), stirring occasionally. Add the coconut chips to the oven for the last 10 minutes of cooking.

  5. Once cooled completely add the raisins. Store in a glass jar!
